Heating Oil Pre-Buy and Budget Programs
Champlain Valley Fuels (CVF) is offering the following programs for the 2021-2022 heating season.
Deadline to enroll in these programs is no later than September 15, 2021 or while supplies last.
Programs are delivered on an automatic basis only, using the degree day system. Any previous account balances must be paid before you enroll in a program. Minimum purchase for either program is 500 gallons.
There is a .02 cents per gallon State Excise tax that no one is exempt from.
Pre-Buy Program: August 15, 2021 - April 30, 2022
PREBUY: all gallons must be paid for in advance. Deliveries will be made on an automatic basis only. Once program gallons chosen have been used your account will be charged market price at time of delivery. Pre-Buy gallons must be used before oil can be purchased at market price. Any credit balance remaining at the end of the contract period will be applied to future gallons and exclusive supplier of #2 Fuel Oil or Kerosene. The Buyer agrees to purchase #2 Fuel Oil or Kerosene only from CVF until Buyer has purchased all the Pre-Buy gallons from Seller.
Budget Program: June 15, 2021 - May 15, 2022
This is not a fixed price or price protected program - this is a cash price program if budget payments are current. Pricing stated on this contract is for calculating initial budget payment. The cash price could go up or down during the heating season. Customers behind one budget payment will no longer be on automatic delivery and will not get the cash price.
BUDGET: PRICE WILL FLUCTUATE - Customer makes a total of 12 payments, first payment due at the time of enrollment. The next 11 monthly payments are due on the 15th of the month starting August 15, 2021. Deliveries will be made on an automatic basis only. Customer must specify gallons they wish to budget for the heating season. Deliveries will be made at the market cash price. Customers behind on budget payment will no longer be on automatic delivery. All customers must sign contract and specify gallons.
Budget plan participants must keep payments current. Budget plans will be reviewed and adjusted as needed. The Budget program will be billed in ten or twelve monthly installments and first payment is due at time of enrollment.
